Why and how CoWorking Spaces boost your creativity!

Swietlica CoWork - a creative space that will boost your creativity
Coworking is an arrangement in which like-minded professionals who are not employed by the same organization, work independently or collaboratively in a shared office. That allows cost savings and convenience through the use of common infrastructures, such as equipment, utilities, and amenities found in a typical office space. But people who are self-employed or working for different […]

SHITTY SITUATIONS: Stop taking things personally!

Get yourself out of the way, stop caring so much! SEE SHITTY SITUATIONS AS AN OPPORTUNITY: change your way of approaching and reading people. Reframe everything as a chance, you can co-create and share everything. Easier said than done. One of my problems is: I take things personally when they come from close people and […]

Create your peace-of-mind

2020 – the year of strange. The strangest that occurred this year? A change in us. In March I have seen people panic-buying. WHO?

Every breath I take, every move I make- I have to create. My name is Alex Molto and this blog is my creative journal – my self-improvement tool. So far I have always kept my shit on real paper and in real life: now it’s time to step it up to a virtual level. I heard a delicate calling and knocking on my comfort zone walls for years but I was an expert at ignoring that kind of sounds and keeping all my work safely locked up at home in drawers. Until my boyfriend gave me the book “Show Your Work!” by Austin Kleon. With each chapter, I felt more disappointed. With myself! Austin claims showing your work is an effective way to build your brand and (online) presence. It encouraged me to finally! create a little platform to show and somewhat organize what I have been doing for years/all my life basically. I am going to share what and how I create in daily life but also at work: my design and production process, traveling. And probably a lot of my Dog “Wurst” and what I design for him and myself.

WHAT?

All the countless inspirations, which flood my brain every day, flow into my daily creative process. From maths, interior design, nasty rap, pop culture, and art to everyday politics: I absorb and beam it down again. I don’t trust normcore, I believe in strong, dynamic personalities and ideas: people from all over the world, up-coming artists, designers, creative brands and fashion agencies, fresh art and design, music styles or fashion movements, mind-blowing photography, interiors, art galleries, magazine editorials – they inspire me and create new dimensions in my head that motivate to sketch and build new projects and products every day. I am crazy about books, exhibitions, art movements, and design in the 21st century, style icons, podcasts, art rebels, start-ups, and entrepreneurs that I look up to and have an impact on my daily life as a designer, creator, and business owner.

WHY?

Turning creative ideas and thoughts, sketches, or just doodles on paper into real objects and DIY craft projects.  You can find some of the designs I produce in my online Concept Store moltostore.com. I am taking creativity to another level daily, by drawing, painting, sketching, sewing, embroidering, knitting, beading and finally photographing my work. Now I want to move even higher and that’s why I am sharing and posting it on this blog. Showing my creative process in the form of a creative journal – a pretty simple way to keep all my stuff organized, archived, and stay motivated. There is this proverb in Japanese, Mikka Bouzo, that literally translates as “three-day monk”. It is used in reference to a person who starts something new with immense power and never finishes.
I do not want to be a Mikka Bouzo.
